I ordered a set of the Vector 3/2/1's. These are even more wild than the Scimitars! The fins have a 3 stage cant: 6/9/11 degrees.

These were some interesting fins. Not as smooth as the Scimitars, and they didn't seem to produce any drive unless you were pumping the fins, but once you did, they out-performed the Scimitars.
This first sequence is James pumping into the flats, carving back into the wake and then crankin' out a huge hack.Buy my kid's board! http://www.flyboywakesurf.com

I'm still impressed with that bottom turn and how much speed James generated to be able to lean that far back into that top turn. If you think about how much speed he should have scrubbed going out into the flat, then the turn back in, it looks to be 3 board lengths and then UP the wake...and he STILL had enough speed to lean back at about 45 degrees.
The water temp was 58, but the air temp was mid 70's. Actually da.bell I posted out of sequence, James started the day with a wetsuit, but in the afternoon as the sun warmed things up, he decided to trunk it. I stayed with the wetsuit, but my buddy Dennis trunked it too. The initial shock was the worts part, but after that the guys didn't seem to have too much trouble (probably no blood in the extremeties ).
The water is WAY DOWN! I don't think I've ever seen it this low in all the years we've ben going to Hogan. The original dam is fully visible at this point...very sad.Buy my kid's board! http://www.flyboywakesurf.com

Camera's I know NOTHING about - you guys got lucky! It's just some Kodak digi-cam...it's crazy slow. It's funny, I've become used to how James throws a trick and I press the shutter about 1 full second before I know he's going to do somethingBuy my kid's board! http://www.flyboywakesurf.com
