Yeah it's partly the lead. My buddy Dennis weighs 275, and he's the majority of my "people ballast" The problem is that he's goofy and he rides goofy too When he is out of the boat riding, the darkside wake takes a HUGE hit.

We placed 6 - 40 pound lead bricks in the back of the locker and it pushed all my sacks way up. But the wake was clean! The hatch door has those ram assist shock like deals, and the slightest bump would send the door up, so we bungeed it down

Yeah, his newer perimeter stringer boards allow him to boost a bit higher - we go WOW! all the time now
