I know I'm not the only one here who thinks this so, in an effort to get some closure on this subject, I'll ask it. Why isn't James Walker sponsored by Tige? Or is he? What is the story on this? It seems like a natural fit. You've got Surfdad, with his unrivaled involvement of the sport and James with absolute raw talent. The dynamic duo, who are already proponents of Tige and it just seems like a missing link somewhere. Just about everyone wakesurfs anymore and it should be a major selling point for Tige. Case in point, I would never buy a Malibu just because I hate the surf wake. I could give a crap about the boarding wake or slalom wake or anything else for that matter. If it sucks to surf then it just sucks. So now there is a video of the wakesurf wake on Tige.com. Super. With James ripping the face of it a new a$$hole, it would be 10x's more impressive. Am I wrong? Way off base? Shut up and mind your own business NICKYPOO, if that is your real name? I'm sorry but I don't get it. The Walkers have been around Tige for too long not to have some sort of factory involvement. So I ask, what is the story with this connection or lack there of?

Nick, thanks so much 'bro for you kind words and looking out for James. Thanks also Rag and da, I appreciate it! Guys, I think it's me that dropped the ball. I'm sorry if I misled anyone. James had a "Professional Athlete Endorsement Agreement" with Tige from 7/1/05 thru 12/31/05. I never followed up on it after the '05 year.
I can't even remember who I contacted back in '05. I'm sure that James would love the opportunity to ride for Tige again. Does anyone know who handles that function for Tige and how to contact them?Buy my kid's board! http://www.flyboywakesurf.com

There are several from Tige that monitor this board, maybe a PM to them would draw their attention to this thread.
I would fully support James being sponsored by Tige, I've had a chance to ride with the Walkers and they are high quality people. Tige couldn't go wrong by having such a fine person as James on board.

Thanks guys, I'll start with the contacts above and see if there is any interest.Buy my kid's board! http://www.flyboywakesurf.com

Here is another idea. Tigeowners.com could sponsor him. I frequent a Skidoo snowmobiling website (dootalk.com) also. They sponsor a rider/race team. Not sure what Matt Garcia's agreement is with Tige.
Dootalk members are allowed to make a $5~$50 donation to the race team. Donating members get a T-shirt, sticker, poster, and/or a special "team member" icon next to their avitar. The race team/rider gets the $$, and the website owner gets the advertising from the racer team/rider, thereby increasing traffic to his website, thereby increasing his marketing strength to potential website advertisers.
I'm sure there are lots of people who would buy an inflated cost T-shirt that said tigeowers.com and had a signed pic of JW boosting.Last edited by dtown; 11-07-2008, 10:41 PM.
