LOLOLOLOL! Throw off the shackles that bind and prevent you from shaping and making a stinky mess, brother! I need to be the Reverend of the First Tabernacle Church of EPS and Epoxy.

Did you paint Helicopters in the armed forces or as a civilian? I had a client that was a chopper pilot in the reserves and he used to always say that an engine failure in one of them would ruin your day.
I purchased my setup from ACP, it's equipped with a vacuum switch and catch can. Theoretically you can build one from an old refrigerator compressor, or a vacuum cleaner. I like the ability to adjust the HG from 8 inches up to 20 depending upon what I am working on.
It opens up a LOT of fabrication variables, like the composite sandwich, but also like the folks at Coil Surfboards, where they are using 2 to 3 times the fiberglass as an old polyu/polye board, but very little resin and they get these really "twangy" boards .
The compsand construction is great fun. It opens so much in terms of construction options...I'm not convinced that any of the boards are better, but it sure gets you thinking!
