I don't think I will be able to make this one, I have a conflict, and I didn't know about it in enough time. Bummer, right in my back yard.

Hey Rag we're sorry you Amy and the kids can't make it, we'd love to see you all again.

Larry, the Villa Lagos site has grass for spectators and it's free to come and watch, but there isn't a store or food on site. Occassionally, but not always, there will be a hot dog vendor there. I would recommend bringing your own food.

Looking forward to seeing everyone there!

            Thanks.

@larry, the grass is very nice, just bring a shade tarp and a cooler, you will be set. Red Bluff is only 7 minutes north for plenty of stores and eats and stuff. Also, the kids can play on the grass, and even swim in the shallows while everything is going on, its a very nice place to watch, however it is usually blistering hot there.

We had a pretty good turn out, 22 folks riding in total. The NorCal INT League must have had 200 people there for their event, so it was great to piggyback on them.

We had planned on slightly different divisions than we wound up doing, but it all worked out.

This was the first event that we had a full Mini-Kahuna division - those under 12. That is always great fun, makes me feel like I'm getting them hooked.

                Mini-Kahuna

                1) Stephen
                2) Sofia

We started out with a full amateur division, but several of the riders switched into the open division last minute. Two that didn't switch:

                    1) Derek
                    2) Trent

Ragboy knows the venue well. It's truly gorgeous, and also TRULY hot!

I took all the pictures yesterday, so they aren't great. This gives you a pretty good idea of what the wake looks like - the lake was a 7 foot average depth yesterday. Little Stevie rippin'! So not bad, it's not stellar, but for folks that don't have access to pristine water, this depth is still do'able.

Many thanks to the various folks that donated their time and expertise.

Mike and Dennis primarily handled all of the judging duties

I roped Del into handling some of that chore, also.
