Dog - thanks for the offer! Thing is, I start a new job Monday so I am going to be pretty slammed during the week for the next few months. My boat time will have to be the weekends for the rest of this year.

I am trying to get out during the day this Friday on Lake Austin, that is my one day off before my new job. I am going to see if I can pick up a sac locally this week so I don't have to wait on shipping on that one on boardersbestbuy and can use it Friday. I will take your advice about putting weight on the balls of my feet and weight over the board, I am sure that will help. I am also going to look at demoing a larger board, need to go by the ASC shop on South Lamar, I live only a couple of miles away.

If you guys are going to be out this Friday and have a few minutes let me know.

I got it! With all of you help and the addition of a 450 vdrive sack and an appropriately placed buddy I was able to get a long enough surf wake to surf without the rope and move around the wake fairly easily. I see what you guys are saying about riding on the balls of your feet. What a great feeling it was to throw in the rope and be able to ride pretty much until I got tired. Can't wait to hone my skills and try some moves!

My config ended up being a 450 with a 250 on top in the port vdrive locker, a 250 in the starboard locker and a 500 in the walkway in the front, along with a buddy on the port side. I rode at about 12.5 with the taps on 4. I will continue to play with the speed and taps to get it just right. Still think my board is a little small for my fat arse and I may demo some different boards to see if something else suits me better.

Thanks again for all of your help.
