    Marathon ride

Just had to share this because it is almost unbelievable.

My wife has picked up wakesurfing like a natural from the very first time she got on the board. She will usually do a pretty long run, about 15-20 minutes. We were out this past weekend, and she did a run, which I estimated to be about 6.8 miles taking about 45 minutes. We did have to throw her the rope for about 1 minute while I did a U-turn (a sheriff had someone pulled over), but otherwise she was free-riding the entire time. I'll get out my GPS next time we are out and confirm the distance, but that was calculated using mapping software.

I was just going to email you to see if I could catch a ride this weekend (wife and fam. are out of town). But... 45 minute rides??? that is long. my front quad starts buring after 7 minutes. Newberg to Wilsonville?

    Let me know.

      D,

No problem you can catch a ride... there is a slight chance we will go to Bend, but we are a little leary leaving the kids home.

Amy rode from the 219 bridge past Champoeg almost to the turn, a sheriff had someone pulled over so she wanted to turn around and keep going, and we went all the way back to the bridge. It was crazy boat chaos on the way down river, so it wasn't like she was just hanging back there surfing... she was working the wakes, and doing some slayshin'. I told her I may have to stop to top the tank and get an oil change. Surprisingly her leg didn't bother her... after about 10 minutes her leg got tired and then she got her second wind... I guess like a runner doing long distance.
