Well, I was hoping to save some money, but didn't have much luck finding a used board, so I just ordered a new Hyperlite Broadcast 5'6", along with a proline rope. Evo sent me a $50 off coupon, and they had free shipping, and they matched West Marine's price on the rope, so I got the board and rope delivered for $250. It's about $100 then I wanted to spend, but I want to surf this year, and next year, not just next year.
I'm not super fond of the graphics on the back of the board, but it appears to be a good board for my situation.
I also just bought 2 260# sacs from wakeworld for $90 (shipped). Hopfully everything will be here no later then Wed, because we are taking the boat out next Thursday. The lake will be closed next weekend, and I have to find a way to sneak in a trip once a week.
