Epoxy Longboard

I am thinking about getting a longboard for the boat, and I saw these epoxy boards. They look good, wonder if anyone has any experience with these. I have tried craigslist and stuff, and I don't want to drive all the way to santa cruz to hit a surf shop. The prices are good too. My inlands are epoxy.

I've ridden an nsp epoxy and southpoint longboard behind the boat. The nsp was about $329 and I think the southpoint was around $350. Just to give you a couple more to look at that were well made and readily available. The isle board look nice too.

yeah, i ride a 9foot Mctavish epoxy board (in the surf) and its great, there light and boyant, i love mine, turns like a much smaller board.

tried it behind the boat, and couldnt work it, the wave was to steep and narrow, it practically didnt fit on the wave, i must have been doing somkething wrong coz i know people have had mals behind boats..

Hey Rag,

Isle makes a good product, they are a very young company, like 3-4 years old. You'd be happy with their longboard. You might also check out ebay - Triple X boards and Isle boards seem to litter that site and at slight cheaper prices, but...check the shipping.

They say they are 3.5" thick, which is TOO big for my rack, but wondering if that is 3.5 inches thick, like the box you would need, due to the rocker in the board, of if the board is really 3.5" thick where I would put in rack.

The thickest point is really 3.5" thick These things are truly logs.
