FINALLY, I have been hoping for a wakesurf comp somewhere in the area. We will be there. I will find out how many of my kids will compete, at least 4.

BTW, didn't mean to insinuate that you were slacking or anything with the "FINALLY", just excited, didn't see any comps around anywhere.

No offense taken ragboy, but you'd have been correct I've been slacking This will be one of two contests in NorCal, the other is with INT up at Villa Lagos on 8/24. Hope that you folks can make that one too. Please spread the word! It'll be great to see everyone and we'll have divisions for the kids.

Villa Lagos ?? Isn't it a bit shallow to hold a good wave?

Yeah - it's 8 ft max depth. I won't kid you that it's a stellar wake - the venue is challenging, but it can be done. We've held about 7 or 8 contests there. The rest of the venue is gorgeous. No rollers, grass and shade all around. Well, except it's like a bazillion hours north.

Greg you're going to be at Tulloch aren't you? We need your support!

I'm sure I will probably make it. have to check my Triathlon calandar, to make sure there is no conflict.

P.S. I almost a complete 360 down on my JaMako. I'm getting all the way around, but falling out of the pocket. SO CLOSE !!

Looking forward to seeing the Walker clan at Rollins. Got the new boat yet?

I think I am going to have 5 of my kids signed up, hoping to practice enough with RJ to see what he can do.

Some of the prizes rolling in. Phase 5 generously donated 4 boards, 2 that will stay here on the west coast, 2 heading east. A gorgeous transluscent blue over texalium oogle and a prop with camo traction.

Sanger Boats just signed up as the lead sponsor for our event and we will have two fresh 237's to ride behind.

The 237 is proving to be one of the premier surf boats, not only for it's size, but it's consistent wake on both sides without requiring a reverse rotation option.

There will be a demo day for those interested in seeing the 237 on August 2. Also, we are expecting a vendor booth with the 237 on site.

Mike Armstrong of Calibrated and Dennis Horton of TWP did a test and quick write up here

Also, the folks from Shred Stixx have been heavily testing and filming behind the 237.

                      Solid wake:

We don't judge based upon a tricklist or trick counting as this tends to create a bias for minimal tricks done quickly. The judging is subjective based, consistent with current NWL practices. The rules document, referenced above goes into some depth on the methodology employed.

Will you be flying out from TN for our event? We'd love to have someone from a distance join us.

More prizes! A gorgeous Smed! Mat Smedley is the man behind this design and the most generous of sponsors. Easily a $500 value. No need to win a division, random award just for entering!
