Hey Jeff which TWP board is that the James is riding? Is it the bullet or does James have his own signature board now? I see the TWP logo so I'm assuming that's not one that you shaped.. or is it?

I am getting some lake time now, and may be able to make it. Would we be ok signing up when we got there? Or do we need to do early?

Hey rag, I am so glad that you aren't in danger with that crazy fire. I believe that we will have spaces open at the event, but I will have to cut off at 60 contestants. The best bet would be to pre-register, but those that like to get there early can still register the day of the event. I do hope to see all of you there and give our best to Amy.

For those that would like to pre-register, the necessary forms are available online. If are currently a USA WAterski member, you'll use your member number in the appropriate places. For those not already a member we do encourage you to join, but you can also attend individual contests for a small $10 guest membership fee, in addition to the $40 contest entry fee.

All entrants must complete and sign a waiver, minors will need a responsible adult's signature on the minor wavier portion of the form.

When completing the forms, the event number is 08X049, and where you are asked for an event name it is the: Northern California Wakesurf Championship.

Everyone must complete an entry form and biography, if you do NOT have a USA Waterski membership you will also need to complete the Guest membership application.

Well, we are re-registered. We are staying at the resort, and I think are going to get there on wednesday, make it a mini vacation since our lake will be most likely closed by then.

How deep is lake tulloch? And during the week, is it pretty nice conditions?

Sorry but just getting back to the site. Thanks for the response (see 7/10/08). I like the way it will be judged but I was more wanting some type of tricklist so that I could practice and learn some. Unfortunately we will not be flying out but maybe next year after some practice.

I'm sorry farmacist, Roy Gordon is working on an online database that we intend to train judges with, but it most likely won't be available until next year.

Hey ragboy, I'm so glad that you and the family can attend - I'll bet that we'll see lots of awards going to the Garcia clan! The lake is pretty deep by the marina, over 100 feet last time I checked. That lake has a TON of vacation homes along the water, so during the summer months it can still be busy during mid week. If you head down one of the major arms, you should be able to find quieter water.

One of the things I so enjoy about these contests is that we get participation from some of the sports greatest athletes and all of them are accessible. Chase Hazen and my son James will be there, plus Sean Cummings, who is rapdily becoming one of the best skim style riders in the country. We also received confirmation that Tommy Czeschin, will be competing. Tommy is a former Olympic Snowboard team member and has medaled at the winter X Games.
