    20V Surf wake dialed in

Think I got my 02' 20V surfwake finally set up. I dropped a 800lbs flyhigh sack in the rear filled as full as can be. close to 600 up front same side. Taps at 4 speed 10.5-11.0 mph. We had three people in the boat on the drivers side. Looks like were surfing rootbeer!!

That's the Wolf River it's actually very clean. Around here we have such a high iron content and sediments in the water giving it that brownish tint.

                  Brody,

Good job, nice looking "dark side" wake. With that river water, you're giving a whole new meaning to dark-side.

I have found with my 20V it doesn't take as much weight to get a decent looking wake, I am guessing because the boat is lighter and shorter than the bigger V's, that some ballast and people have a bigger impact on the wake size. We normally run about 350 lbs in rear locker, and 3-4 people on the wake side, TAPS at 3.5.

                  Have fun,

                  Steve

What are you fellow 20V'ers running for speed when you surf? I put a 400lb sack in the side and 4 friends, but I think I might need to speed it up a bit. Been running at 10.0 mph, with taps @5.5.

I just moved up to a 500 lb sac... traded the Launch Pad V drive sacs for the Fly High V-drive, and I thought it made a big difference. I believe my speedo is off at low speeds, but it reads about 13-13.5, I think it is more like 10-11 on my GPS.

I love the root beer lake.

It makes me thirsty every time this thread with that picture comes up.
