The concept with the heavier rail material is to provide a better wave set and in combination with the perimeter stringers, less rail twist off.

Are you building a drag board? This one looks pretty neeto. Can't wait to hear how it rides. Are we looking for pure speed or more of a certain "snap" if you will. Approximate weight?
