    Twinzer / C-5

For those familiar with the Walzer you've seen the C-5 fins and boxes. Rusty Ps...Pse...eeer, Pseifindorfer developed the C-5 for Future and there were two fins associated with that box the cupped and a slightly larger twinzer model...most commonly the cupped model is found.

The twinzer, as developed by Wil Jobson had a very arrgessive bottom contour, and this general fin arrangement.

The Rusty C-5 was more about the fin and I do believe there was a contest in the late 90's that awarded something like $10K for the most advanced design featuring the C-5 fins and boxes.

Anyway...so many things we haven't tried behind the boat yet.

I took an extra set of C5 boxes and installed them in a bullet to make a twinzer...or probably what is called a rusty c5. The theory behind the design is that the extra fins add more surface area and thus more drive, but also the leading fins break up the water flow and reduce drag for the main fins...anyway...we'll see if I managed it correctly.
