New Wakesurfboard Company

While I was at the boatshow last week, I found my kids talking to a vendor that sells wakesurfboards and is actually located in Austin. It's SMED Wakesurfing. It's run by Matt Smedley and his wife, Shayla (I think). Matt wasn't there, so we talked to Shayla and Mario. They were really nice. The two boards they had there were really interesting. Shayla was telling me that Matt was working on a Big Guy board for an uncle who was about as big as me. I'm going to have to check this out.

I'm hoping to see them out on Lake Austin in the future.

I have got the chance to ride the Reactive prototype, I did a review on WW I believe. It was fun, there was very little I would change, I am glad to see it being introduced mainstream. Smed's a good dude and he's working hard at kicking out boards. If you get a chance definitely ride one.
