    Opinions please

I'd just like folks opinion. Which aerial appears higher to you. There is no right answer, I'm just asking folks to give their impression, just as if you were a judge in a boat. Which aerial looks higher to you, please.

The first one. It would be more obvious had the camera been at the same level for the second pic.

      Thanks dogbert.

My lovely wife Judy took the pictures and I didn't tell her that I was looking for any comparisons...these two were the closest I had of the bunch.

Well, they're both taken from the same distance and same zoom level. All you have to do is measure the distance between your sundeck and James.

i would say the first one as well. it looks the first gets his knees a little higher wich in turn lets the board come up higher. both very nice tricks.

I would say the second one, especially if you look at the water at the bottom of the 'wave formation' to where the board bottom is....not much difference, but it looks higher to me.

I think the first LOOKS higher, because you see more AIR under, instead of the splashing white water.

I say #1 has it. Perhaps it's because James has the board around a bit more. Or maybe it's because Dennish has his head in #2. What a picture hog (JK). Seriously though, #1 has my vote.

That's funny Greg - Hey Dennis move your noggin'

Actually, the height is almost the same. When you line up the fixed points in the two pictures - that being the corner of the boat, James head is almost the identical height - shoulders, etc line up. The board itself isn't the indicator of height (it's just the amout the rider can suck his legs up ) the ACTUAL height is determined by the riders head above his stationary position on the water.

It's very deceiving though isn't it? I looked at the two pictures and immediately said - first one is higher...not the case.

first looks higher due to the way it's taken, like you all have already said.
