    New Ballast = New Wake

A few weeks ago, I decided to remove the factory ballast tank from the rear port side, and replace it with a custom Enzo sack from Fly High. I was very pleased when all of the plumbing fit perfectly into the new sack, without having to shorten, or lengthen ANYTHING. The only addition I made to the existing lines was to add a PVC ball valve to eliminate any self draining of the sack while in the nose up position. Heres a couple of pics of me , Tina, and my new wave.

Thanks Jeff. Even Jerry had a smile on his face when he was riding.

Me 2. I would love to do that, but my wife would kill me with all the storage gone. Maybe I could adopt some fat kids. LOL.

Looks great. When you say custom Enzo sac do mean the Enzo sac W712 or did you do custom dimensions. I am going to be ordering another surf sac and I like that wave.
                Let it be!!!

Sorry to miss lead. It's the "Off the Shelf" Enzo sack. No custom dementions were needed.

I guess with all those kids, you need all the space as possible.

P.S. Have you recieved your new Calibrated yet? (sorry to re-open )

NP, no I haven't. I sent him an email yesterday, just asking for a tracking number so I could make sure it wasn't lost. He never asked me for my address, so I guessed he got it from the bottom of my email to him, but wasn't sure. He said it was by his front door and didn't have it out yet, but he emailed me later with a tracking number, and offered to have the whole team sign it at the next comp. I get the impression he genuinely regrets what he did.

Just checked tracking, out for delivery. I will let you know how it looks.

                            Thanks Greg.

My current custom sac puts about 700# in the rear locker and 575# on the side. The enzo has just over 800# in the rear locker and 670 on the side if it could fill completely. That extra hundred pounds in the rear locker looks like it makes a big diferrence.

The sac I am designing is about 830 in the rear and 630 on the side. The only benefit I get going custom again is that I can move the drain close to the port side. I am moving my drain pump from the storage locker to behind the battery wall. Just don't like the sac sitting on the drain pumps.

Great idea with moving the drain plug. I'm not really sure if the sack would hurt it though. I think that it would just form around it. I do like the "Clean look" idea.

The pics posted above is with the sack filled 3/4 full, and the taps at about 3 1/2.

I'm going to play with it more this Saturday. See what combo will make it even better.
