Met up with Bill and Corey from Wakeboard & Waterski Specialty and 9 News here in Denver to film a "special interest" story on Wakesurfing. The weather was almost perfect, slight clouds overhead but the mountains were clear and there was a slight breeze, just enough to give some minor, minor chop. It was really fun and Bill and Corey did awesome on camera with the interviews and stuff.
Corey did all of the riding for the in-boat shoots and right before we were headed in he and I decided to try doing some doubles with Corey going over on the "dark side". That was a lot of pressure for both of us, first he crashed while trying to free ride over there and then the next time I crashed just seconds after he started free riding. After the in-boat shots, it was my turn to ride and I did all of the riding for the shore shots.
We had the wave dialed in pretty much perfect, ran a 550 lb in the rear locker and then had 4 guys on the port side (cameraman included). The wave looked beautiful and hopefully it shows up on camera as good as it looked in person.
It was a LOT of fun and hopefully after editing and stuff they will air it and post it up on there website. Right now they are thinking it will run the 1st week of September!
