He said he could whistle Dixie with his ear when he plugged his nose when I saw him Saturday.

I blew my ear drum once when I was in high school trying to do a 1-1/2 front flip in to a pool, came up way short and slammed my side of my face/ear on the water and pop...NO FUN

Nice Pics! It looks like a lot of fun. But, I have to admit that seeing how big you are in your other pictures, I expected to see one of those North Shore waves behind your boat

A few weeks ago we had about 700 lbs of ballast and 12 people in the boat. No Camera. Plus the Beer cooler must have been another 100 lbs. I only had about 2 ft of freeboard left in the back corner of the boat. The wave was monster but most of us had to much to drink enjoy it. My wife had a hell of time controlling the boat with all the weight.

When we surf everyone that is sitting on the rider side of the boat moves to the other side of the boat to counter balance the weight when they fall/lose the pocket. It makes the boat easer to control. IMO

                      Coach:

How do you like your red tide surfboard? That is one that I'm considering. Any opinions on it?

We do too, but we were all three sheets to wind and my wife is still getting comfortable with the boat. With that much weight it is hard to move the boat.

I love it. We are all bunch of beginners, but 9 out of 10 first timers get up first try. Plus all of us fat *** it makes it easy to get up.

I'm still trying to find the right board for my fat a$$. I have a 5'11" landlock, but it seems really sluggish. I'll have to ride it a few more times before I make my final determination.
