James behind an Avy back in Ohio - from this perspective it looks like the air is larger than the wake is high!

Karen Nelems from AL sent me this quick picture of her unweighted RZ2 wake. Now my 16 y/o son wants to fly to AL for some reason!!!!!

We were using a Black Widow which is the standard Bullet with "tow-in" straps attached - looks similar to the old sandal wakeboard bindings. James landed several - when I say landed, he made the rotation and had the board under him. However, what happens is that he would have to throw himself OUT and over...he couldn't get any significant height going straight up...so when he would land, the board would be in the flats and would stop dead.

We watched some gymnastic routines and we never did see anyone that could basically go straight up and over...they all had some momentum that helped carry them over and that added distance between the launch and landing...which puts you in the flats.

James had some nice air there. What type of camera are you using? You seem to get all the air shots just right...

I hope we can catch up with you at New Hogans this weekend. You did mention that you might be out on Sunday at 10 AM. We are sticking around but if you have other things to do, I am sure we can get some wakeboarding in. Hopefully we will see you there.

da.bell, I almost forgot! We are going to be at Hogan tomorrow instead of Sunday. We should hit the water around 10'ish and will be there probably most of Saturday. Does that still work out for you folks?

I know NOTHING about cameras, if we get any decent shots it's 100% luck!!!!

We will be there all day tomorrow. We'll look for your Tige (Mine is a Pacific Blue 06 24Ve. I am sure you won't miss me. ). I am stocked that you are coming out. It will be great to meet you finally and not just ask questions on the board and receive answers from you.

If I haven't said it, thank you for coming out and letting me see what you have and take a few pointers.
