The 500# sac is too big to fit under the seat you wont be able to fill it.....Put your hand on a hot stove for a minute, and it seems like an hour. Sit with a pretty girl for an hour, and it seems like a minute. THAT'S relativity. Albert Einstein

Okay, went out wakesurfing for the first time and you all are right, it was fun. I even tried to throw the rope in and knew that I wasn't going to do well and you can see me smiling knowing damn well that I wasn't going far.
Okay, the speed was 11.5 mph, 500# in port locker, 350# in port ski locker, 4 adults on the port side, and one driver. The wake looks good at the beginning but once at speed, the wake started to roll over about 5-7 feet behind the boat.
The problem is that we didn't have a very big face and would like to have a better face. We eventually put one of the poeple in the bow but that only gave us another 1-2 feet of good surf riding wake.
Any suggestions or questions are encouraged. I had a great time and want to do more......

Ok.. You might want to try and get some more weight up in the bow to "lengthen" the pocket. I think our stock ballast setup has something like 400lbs in the front bow sac and 250 in the locker on the starboard side. It is decent with just the ballast but when we get around 800-1000lbs of people weight on on the same side it gets really good. I think the 400lb sac in the front really helps to lengthen the pocket. The way you had it set up w/ basically no weight in the front is why it started to wash out back farther. What happened w/ the taps at 2? and what about 4?If you ain't falling.. you ain't trying hard enough..

Move that 500lb to the seat on top of the port ski locker, right above the 350. It makes a huge difference. My boat's smaller, but we got the best results with 150 in the rear locker, 350 in the port ski locker and 350 on the seat over the port ski locker. I also had about 130 lbs of human ballast in the port stern area. The wake was longer and didn't fall over. We got similar results on the starboard side.Cursed by a fortune cookie: "Your principles mean more to you than any money or success."
