The dbot5 rack has a 2 inch spread between the forks, the Walzers and WP Comp X's fit. My 1.5" thick Poly U's fit with the Xtrack traction fit also.

We have additional sponsorship from Cybershapes and Walker Project. I'm interested in seeing how the Cybershapes boards ride. The bottom of the boards are durasurf, like you'd find on a sintered base snowboard and the deck has molded in EVA foam, also again this year we have Walker Project donating some boards.

          Jeff,

I wish I could attend these events, not only the free stuff, but a chance to ride some different boards.
Maybe that Tige camping/boating trip I mentioned could be a Surfdad Demo Day?

Not to forget Calibrated. Mike is promising 3 boards for the series, no doubt Telum's and Piscus' - sheesh say that three times fast

Do you think there would be interest in a demo day? I have boards from virtually every manufacturer and I know that most folks would rather not BUY every board out there just to see how it rides. Ed Sullivan, out in Ohio, holds a few demo days each season, most with just his regular crew and they all enjoy that. I wonder if that is something that we should consider? I know that Nick is working on one in his area.

"Do you think there would be interest in a demo day?"

HELL YA! It is unfortunate how many people drop 3,4,5 bills on boards that they end up not even liking that much or not being the right board for them. I would love to be able to demo a bunch of non big-3 surfboards.. the only ones I can demo in my area, that I know of, are big-3 boards.

                Others?

A BIG THANK YOU to Matt for directing my email to Melinda - Tige Boats is jumping on our sponsorship bandwagon! The first contest, which by the way will have the FIRST EVER longboard division, will have waves courtesy of my 23V.

WOO HOO!!! that's exciting! I'd love to surf behind your 23V.. except for the fact that I'm goofy and from my understanding, you don't have a starboard side surf sac installed YET. Does Calibrated have a website?

I don't have a CUSTOM sac yet, but I have two separate sacs totalling 1,000 pounds AND I have a sweet starboard wake, plus I'll have 950 pounds of judges and driver I know how to pick my judges

Calibrated's website - Mike Armstrong is a great guy, used to be a professional snowboarder for Burton.

Still more sponsors! Cire Boardwear and Buywake.com both are kicking in goodies! I know that this first stop will be tough for folks to make because of the holiday weekend, but the 6/9 and 8/5 dates will have tons of stuff to give away, plus it's a fun event. My Tige with all that ballast (both water and people) tosses a sweet wake, especially in teh deep water at Modesto and Discovery bay.

My rough estimate is that we are up to just short of $10,000 in retail value of prizes. It is far and away the richest wakesurf contest in the nation.

Thank you to BOTH Eric's for your generosity and support of wakesurfing.

So what do you guys think about a camping/boating/demo long weekend at Shasta or Trinity Lake. I have another family that would be interested in coming with us... so that would be 2 boats and 8 people.... any takers? I am looking at the middle of July.

By the way, we have tried out the Shred Stixx board and love it. My wife is pumped up about it. With the Fat Sacs, our starboard wake is looking pretty good with only 2 people in the boat for ballast. This weekend we had 6 people in the boat with the sacs and it is the cleanest wake I've seen so far on the darkside. I'll try to extract some pics from our video, and post them.
