James rode the board as a quad and then also as a twinny with the fins on the inside and outside boxes. There was no difference with the quad and fins in the outside boxes. The outer most fin would catch, JUST a little, but not severe like the Walzer. With the fins on the inside, they literally didn't catch at all.

The shape of the nose on this board is more like a surfboard, James said that it gave him more control on the landing...the board sunk enough to make it super stable. I had difficulty riding it revert as there wasn't enough surface area to keep me up, I'm probably 40-50 pounds heavier than James and 2 inches short - dang whiper-snappers anyway

Picture of the Comp-X revert, you can see the fin is clear of the water - probably 2 inches, this is the fin in the outer most fin box. The inside box gave another inch of clearance.
