Which board?

Looks like I’m gonna bite the bullet and buy a new board. Need a board that will support a fat guy.
Looking at the DW nubstep and the IS red rocket.
Would the nubstep be too loose of a board for beginners? This will be a shared board for now, and I don’t want to buy something that we won’t be able to use.
Would the Red Rocket be able to handle a little more abuse?
Any suggestions on another good big boy board for 500 or less?

Currently have a LF Rocket, and it’s definitely not working out for me. My 13yo son can’t quite go ropeless with it either.

I have a broadcast (5 footer) that the kids can all use ropeless. Can be found discounted on sites like evo.com or the-house.com . Currently $275 on evo but could probably be found elsewhere.

You won't be disappointed. I'd reach out to them and see if they have any blemished boards if looks aren't important.

The Nubstep is an amazing board. Great for beginners to advanced. I use it in comps with 2 fins and use 4 fins with beginners. You will not be disappointed. Call Brock his info is on the website. He's a tremendous help
