You are completely entitled to your opinion but you don’t know squat about the backstory here. I’ll take someone being rude to me for so long. This wasn’t the first time as Dakota and others can attest too.

I might be d- bag not denying that at all. I have my moments, but this d bag always wants to help others on here and took the OPs phone call at 930pm last night to explain the system and other options.

The hardest part of the install is figuring out the first plate and then drilling the holes in the boat. Drilling the oles is easy, its just deciding do I really want to drill holes below the water line! I had at least two shops in my area say they could not do it. My advice is to do it yourself, just take your time, lay everything out, and do it.
I had a 22SSV prior to my RZ2, I loved that boat and probably would have kept it longer if I would have know about GSA back then. It is a relief to hear your ease of the installation, as Jason said the same thing. Thanks!

For those wondering, the weather on DBag island is a sunny and warm 75 today. Wind is 3mph out of the west.

But hay, good or bad for your boat, at least someone here can make you a deal on it.

Understand, I was more asking how his Z1 with GSA surfed compared to his RZX2. I know there is a ton of differences, and the RZX2 wave appears to be amazing, I am just at a point that curiosity is making me think about how my RZ2 with GSA would do compared to a new boat like the RZX2. His Z1 wave looked great, so I am going to take the advice on here, install the GSA and surf it for at least one season. If it isn't all I thought it should be, or could be, I will just have to follow up with Jason on potentially something newer.

Whatever you decide is cool with me! You have the correct info though which is most important.

Was a pleasure talking last night bud. You have my cell if you ever need me.

Whats the Water Temps? Seems a little frosty over here in the Tige Forum.

This is what I mean a little passive aggressive. Your right I don't know back story and don't want to. He should leave it in the back story world as well. You both help lots of people on these forums all the time. I am glad you helped the OP that was the point

Also we have been in the 80's for weeks water is near 80 so all good.

To the OP I think most are stoked when they get GSA. My only hangup is IF you havent taken care of upping your ballast game and you dont already have a shaper Id go that route first. ONLY reason I say that is you are talking about upgrading. If you are upgrading soon dropping that kind of coin is money I think youd be hard pressed to fully recoup on a used sale. Though maybe Cek1 and others that sold their boats with GSA on it can weigh in.

Getting weight right and running a shaper can net you big wave gains if you havent done that is I guess my point. Can also be done a lot cheaper than 4k.

My Z1 was weighted to the max. Can’t remeber exactly but it had PnP in the rear and always had a pretty full boat which I kept the bow full of people. Mine had the VX and surfed awesome but we have reg and goofy riders so the swap was a killer. I also tried the mission wake shaper thingy. It worked well also. I changed to the GSA for the speed of switching but it ended up being a better wave also. I would say my Z1 wave wasn’t as nice as my RZX2 but it was also almost half of the cost.

Copy that. I guess what I was curious about was do you think you recouped the cost of GSA when you sold your z1??

Passive aggressive, maybe but funny Is what I was after.

I’ve sat here quiet time and time again as he makes snide rude back handed remarks. I’ve watched him do it to others and for whatever reason It doesn’t stop. So, time to go a different avenue.

You don’t care to know the backstory but yet you blasted my response calling me a D- Bag and a beavis. All without context. Sounds rational. I like beavis by the way.

                          In all seriousness,

Mike doesn’t care for me and I don’t care for him It’s evident. I don’t interact with him, i guess it’s too much for me to ask him to do the same. My own wife doesn’t ride me as much as he does.

But you are right, the OP was handled which is what’s important....

Absolutely. The guy who bought it did so because of the GSA. I had others looking also. And most wanted the automation that wasn’t available for the factory in the older boats.

That’s a great question, but that in itself begs another question... are we doing upgrades for resale later (like a house), or are we doing upgrades for right now? I personally don’t do upgrades on my boat(s) with resale as a consideration. I look at it like “it’s a boat, not an investment”. Additionally, recouping what the GSA sells for at MSRP, and what elevated might be able to sell it for may be a different consideration altogether! Just food for thought.

Legit Cek. I get the same feedback. Wave looked insane by the way.
