No one ever catches it when I ride Switch. I must have something to do with the skill level of my crew!

    Surfdad, great write up man!

Well, we know your ego bruises easily, so we're going with the kid glove approach.

        Meanwhile, back at the thread....

I'm really beginning to understand the physics behind wake surfing...thanks to Surfdad.

            Surfdad,
Awesome pics and a great write up! I am with NickyPoo, I want one. Of course, I am still working on mastering my butter board--milk before meat or Butter Board before a Walzer Steak.

Thanks for the props guys. Hopefully Mike Armstrong from Calibrated will be in my office this morning with a handful of boards to demo this weekend - the season is almost done! If I get them in hand I'll post a few pic's and text in short order. I'm impressed with the Lovett Pro Model, I'm hoping we get one to test.

Speaking of testing......... so long as the weather holds, should be getting out to demo the RZ on Sat. I plan on bringing the P5 and my trusty Landlock. It's a no ballast havin' RZ so I guess we'll see. I will be sure to get some pics if we do go.

God, I haven't been out on someone else’s boat since.............,............................... .? Let's see Tahoe, mmmmmm 2 years ago, I think. I remember the boat, Élan Eagle 21' D-Drive. It had a ballast tank incorporated into the swim platform. Trippy. We actually surfed the thing which, in itself, was a victory. It was late afternoon on the west shore of Tahoe on a Saturday in early July. The water was friendly to no craft or crew. Campbell’s Chunky served ice cold. We headed out from Sunnyside after a late lunch, cocktail, and quick chat with Agassi's trainer (can't remember his name for the life of me, tennis heads help me out), and from the moment we left the dock it was hammer down. I've never seen some one hammer their boat like that for no real reason other than to scare the girls. Full throttle through 2'-3' foot chud. Jenkies. Once we got to the spot, he broke out his gun. The dude had a 6' (or so) G&S that he would just hang back on the rope and carve the crap out of. He didn't think the wake on the Eagle would be surfable as the pump for the platform ballast tank was down. There were about 8 of us though and we managed to get it going just fine. All in all, it made for one crazy session. Crazy conditions, crazy board, crazy boat, crazy captain, crazy crew. Crazy man, caaaarazy.
You'll get your chance, smart guy.

That sounds like a good plot for made-for-tv mini series!
