I bent my prop and just replaced it with the acme 2419 on a z3. I was wondering where my rpms should be hanging around , both cruising and surfing

Only one ratio in a Z3, aside from the 575 should all be roughy the same at surf speed given the motors are building roughly the same torque at that speed. Heavily ballasted you should be 3500-3900 at surf speed. Cruise speed will vary, at 27-28 you should be in the 4s if my mind serves me right.Germaine Marine

@Langwell: updated numbers from this weekend w/ the 2419 on my '18 R23, raptor 400. Surfing was ~3100rpm with 700# people, 500# lead all in back, rear bags full, forward bags 50/50. 11mph, 4/3 surf/taps. Cruising ~4000 RPM 28mph, no water ballast, 700# ppl and 500# lead in the back. WOT 39mph @ 5400rpm (just me in the boat, with the lead). Hope that helps.
