They've just launched the site. I'm not affiliated in any way but they are local to me and ride my same home lake. I follow one of the team riders on IG and see him on the lake all the time.

Figured I'd put it up here for the fellow Canadians if they want to support Canadian products.

Dukes, you're right the video does look really bad on the site. On a mobile it's not so bad but I found last night it doesn't even like to load.

I have not tried but I've seen a few of the guys that have been riding them on IG. If you search Kanuk on IG you can find the people as they are usually the ones commenting.

bsreid. Don't think they have a store. Pretty grass roots right now so I assume it's out of a garage of sorts. If anyone was to start carrying them it would probably be Extreme Boat Sports in Yarrow but that is purely speculation at this point.

Looks like seca marine just picked them up. I need to find a time this summer to go demo a few.

On their Facebook page, talks about 1st battle of the wakes on cultas lake July 8-9th. I'll go out to support a local board company for sure. You'd think they're connected to extreme in some capacity due to their close proximity. But maybe not?

Paul from Kanuk Board Co here. Thought I would jump in and clear up and answer any questions you guys have.
1) Thanks for your thoughts on the video, we are planning on a better promo video, just waiting till we can get out of these dry\wetsuits!
2) We do not have a local store, you can purchase online or at select shops. Currently Seca will be carrying our boards but we will be announcing a couple others in the next couple weeks.
3) We are in no way affiliated with Extreme Boat Sports in Yarrow. Yes a lot of our riders have Centurions and Supreme's from them but that is it.
4) Yes Kanuk Board Co is hosting a wakesurfing event at Cultus Lake this summer (July 8-9) and we would love to have people come out and join in the fun! You can get more information at https://www.competitivewakesurfing.com/events.html
5) Seca Surf & Marine will be bringing the official tow boat for the event! So come down and say hi to Kris and the gang at Seca.
6) Our company is about making quality, competitive priced wakesurf boards in Canada. We are working with and supporting numerous Canadian wakesurf riders this coming season. All our shapes are given the thumbs up by our riders.

**WARNING save your money and go elsewhere. Buy from a reputable company. This Paul Laviolette guy is a scammer. He does not honor warranty on his products what so ever. He also sells wake shaper called suckgate and i believe another one named surf genie online. I had product issues which he refused to resolve even though it states a 2 year warranty . Wont answer phone or email.

Far be it from me to fully assess your experience, however you signed up to this forum and immediately made 4 of your 5 posts about how terrible Paul is. While I don't doubt your experience with that product, it sure does look like you have a heavy axe to grind. Buying a product and then having it sink in the lake is something we've all experienced. However we don't undertake an online crusade about it.

Paul on the other hand shared his name, his email and was fairly positive. He also has a relationship with my dealer, who is pretty great.

My intentions with this post should have been obvious. I was frustrated after dealing with this for 30 days. Paul has since resolved the issue and sent me a new product. He made everything right in the end and that what matters.

I definitely would if I was around as I'm only 20 minutes from Cultus but I have better things to do.....like being on holidays.lol. I'll be up on Nicola lake for the week.
