    RZ2 2014 - Wakesurf Setup Help

Wondering if anyone has advise for settings, speed and ballast locations/weights for your surfing setup on a RZ2 2014. We haven't been able to dial ours in successfully yet and I'm taking all the help I can get. I've listed all the information below for the boat.

This is our current ballast setup:Surf System Package
Back Lockers: 600 lbs. Each in port and starboard
Bow stock: 200 lbs. Each Side
    Total: 1600 lbs.

    External Fly High Fat Sacs:
1 of the 1000 lbs. triangular bow bag
2 of the 850 lbs. rectangular bags

    Boards:
    Liquid Force Fiver
    Liquid Force TC Custom Skim

What would you recommend for the external bags and placement, as well as speed and wakeplate level? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Beautiful boat bro! Take a look at a few posts down there is almost the same question.

I have a 2013 RZ2 and surf with front both filled 100% rear starboard 0% and rear port 100% 1100 lbs upgraded fat sac. Taps about 4-5 and speed about 12mph. The biggest thing I learned was actually going faster. I use to go about 10.8-11 now I go 12 which made a big difference.

We played with extra bow weight and that did nothing but take on waves lol.

Each time out is a bit different based off water conditions and people weight. Some days it's easy to dial in others I gotta play around a bit but the RZ2 will produce a massive surf wake.

If you do not have the new taps system you cant fill all the bags up. I would definitely fill front up. to make wave longer mine likes weight in the front
. Then do surf side full and 25% on non surf side.

        Here's what we run
        100% across front both sides
        Surf side 100%
        None surf side rear 25%
        Speed 10.4-11.0 mph
        Taps 5-8
You will prolly need more weight in the rear. My boat is setup with factory pro ballast and also 1400 Enzos in each rear locker as well with a custom taps plate that i built too.image.jpg
        surf till u die.

Appreciate the help guys. I'll go back at it with this info and play around with the setup. Hopefully we'll get the wave looking as good as the picture above.
