So I have had my eye on a new Doomswell board this year but can't decide on what to get. I am no pro surfer by any means so I was leaning towards the Drone.... Then I am worried that once I get it I will want to upgrade to the Nubstep before the summer is over. Any advice or opinions on the two?

The nubstep is a bit more of a drive your edge and ride that rail board..a touch more surfy than then drone...
Both are great boards and you cannot go wrong with either.
Let me know if you have any questions.

Dilligad622 - I have been riding doomswell boards for a few years now. I can say they are fantastic boards for the price point. Can you describe your riding level a bit more? The drone and nubstep are hybrid style boards. They are a mix of surf and skim style. The drone will be a bit easier to ride, the rocker is flatter, and will be better for heavier riders. The nubstep, has more rocker and will be more responsive. If you call Brock he will spend the time with you to help make a decision. I would say if you are looking to air, and do more tricks go nubstep. if you are looking for an all around board for every rider go drone.

I am not at a level to worry about getting air just yet.... I have been riding a Hyperlite broadcast but want something faster that I can do more on.

The drone will be a big difference over that board. Make sure you order fins with it. Stock fins. Hold the boards back. Call Brock. Seriously he knows his products.Last edited by CarFanatic; 05-17-2016, 06:45 PM.

I am a HUGE Doomswell Neo fan, don't overlook the NEO. My wife has a full custom 4'6" Neo that she absolutely loves, and I'm riding a 4'8" Neo in Bamboo. They are a great group of guys and we had a blast doing their '15 product shoot behind our Z3. This vid always gets me pumped for an epic weekend:https://youtu.be/65wg2QEgCao-Brandon Lucas
