My New Board for 2016

I commissioned this custom build by Nick Wiersema of Chaos Surf Company last fall. I contacted Nick with my ideas, and he led me to the 4'-6" Sixxer board with a fiver fin configuration for complete flexibility. I gave him my ideas for the custom colors, their arrangement and the general board features, and he put it all together in such an awesome way.

The board features an orange tinted Hexdek top with carbon fiber rails. The bottom orange to blue fade/transition is not painted, but is a colored fiberglass material, I believe. the Chaos Futures fins will also be a mixed set of orange and blue.

Nick is great to work with, and a master craftsman. I can't wait to get this board in the water!

With the Canadian dollar in the toilet, we are likely to start staying on this side of the border for summer boating vacations. Osoyoos has been on the radar for the past couple of years. We may have to give it a shot soon ...
