Those of you that installed a surf flap have mentioned that you can use most or all of the TAPS range. My question is, is a higher TAPS setting useful for surfing -- does it improve the wave? -- or does the wave become too steep with little push? What is a good TAPS value with a flap?

We have the flap on our RZR which is the same hull as your R20. We installed the flap to smooth the wave and it works great no issue for the taps. We usually run the taps 3-4 on both side when surfing and change depending on rider preference. As we go higher wave does get shorter and steeper. Some of our riders like that - others not so much. I can not go past 5 on goofy side and 6 on regular it will start to wash out.
