    New Aftermarket Surf Tab System

Saw it on another forum. Looks like the Mastercraft Gen-II with a twist.

Decent looking product. $3500 installed isn't terrible considering what they are charging for stock systems.

Looks decent, a huge improvement would b a secondary ram on place of the turnbuckle allowing full control of all aspects of the system. I believe this guy may be onto something with the "diverter fins". Wishing them luck! I have a feeling there will be further patent lawsuits in the future as this continues to progress.

Liking the look of this! I want on the mailing list. Having this as well as massive listing ballast system would make a well rounded machine.

I thought it was controllable? Was it just time lapse still photos showing it moving?

That's exactly what it is. They had a few videos on there site and they show the 2nd part of the tab and show to adjust with the turnbuckle. If you tip the end down and the retract the main tab back up it appears that the tip may still be in the water...if his is the case it would interfere with normal performance unless someone climbs in and clears it. Maybe we should work together on a fully adjustable system as you can patent improvements over existing patented items.

In that case, i agree. If the 2nd tab is as important as they say, then it needs to be adjustable from the helm.

Another solution is hitting the market. A grand less expensive but still not there for me. http://boardersmag.com/articles/supe...x-pressrelease

I still keep thinking that a $600 trim tab setup would produce nearly same results.

This is basically what I just put on my boat. Just a different tab shape. The rest is just standard Lenco parts, even the LED indicator switches. Unless it has remote capability for switches and wave adjustment it's totally not worth it.
