    RZR/R20 custom surf sack feeler

    Ragboy provided...Squid approved..

Just a Feeler for how may would be into ordering a set of custom RZR/R20-VX bags...around $1200.
Same as the Z3/1 order..Minimum is 10 and we have 3 sets spoken for already.
..Were talking custom sacks for both rear lockers to boost that 20ft wave...This set up has the VX in mind but will work without..(don't fill the entire bag full without the VX).....I have 8 running hrs of testing/set up and will have the first system in the boat in about 2 1/2 weeks to confirm the and provide film of all its glory...how big your thinking.....1,310 lbs....its not a wake....its a wave and there is still plenty of Tige freeboard above the waterline...

    thanks,

Something about the use of the words sack feeler in a thread title is just wrong

I measured my R20 and the W005 is to big in the locker area and to tall for me to close my locker door. With the problems Ragboy has had with them Im going my own route..We spent time measuring so that the weight is where we needed to be and there is no damage to a overfilled bag in a smaller space.

Who's description is that, as I do not see it listed that way on Fly High's site. Both those semi-custom sacs where designed by the Tige engineers for Tige boats. The only difference between the 59" W004 and the 84" W005 is just that, the length of the leg. Both have a 31L x 24W x 20H main section and 9H x 24W leg. The total length is why one could say that the 84" W005 is not suited for a 20ft boat, yet your proposed sac is the same length, 84"? The 59" version is billed as holding 800 Lbs and retails for $520 and the 84" is billed as holding 1000 Lbs and retails for $540. Strictly going by the dimensions, those advertised capacities are fairly close to what I think they will actually yield in the boat. With a shorter main section, how are you looking to have 300+ more pounds? or is that 1300 including the 250 in-floor tank?

                        http://www.wakemakers.com/fly-high-t...ac-w005-p.html

I found that part number on wakemakers website. It is there description, Looking at the numbers it is bigger (31) then what the RZR/R20 offers for space in the V dave locker. Is this the same bag you referred?

Also we get into the design and shape differences of the 20 ft lockers. I ask all RZR/R20 owners to open up a locker door and look down at it...they will notice that its not square...you put a square bag in it and you loose space...space = weight. and it will put unwanted pressure on the back of the seat and also the engine dividers.

The Tige RZR/R20 V drive lockers are build with angles at the back of the seat and the battery/taps plate access panel in the transom.....there is more but Im not yet ready to explain in full detail tell all is tested and completely ready for market..only that they will be built specially for these models.

Again, this is just a feeler. Anyone thinking they would like a tight built for there model specifically please contact me at Squidswake@gmail.com or Ragboy...

                        Thanks,

                          So, regarding this...

As a user, if you think that sac chpthril mentions will work for you, then get it, and I have never heard a bad thing or issues from ordering from him, and have dealt with him myself and he has always been attentive and provided great service.

That said, I have no intention of starting a store like his or CMS, but have had this opportunity with the sacks and I will tell you why I have done it. There is nothing like a sack that fits perfect and designed for the boat, versus a one size fits many. We will not design or make a sack that isn't fit and tested in the boat it is designed for. Things we look for:

                          1. The sac will have the tie downs to mate with the factory tie downs to help keep it in place.
                          2. it will fit as well as any custom sack can, so that it doesn't cause any issues in your boat as much as possible. So it will fill to the top, but not pop your cover open. It will fill up the sides and not lift you out of the seat when you stop, etc.
                          3. It will designed for the right weight tested with the VX specifically.

It is so nice when you have a bag that is tested and just for your boat, you just fill surf side til it starts leaking out and you are ready. No need to not fill all the way for the perfect setup, or add an extra bag.

Not only are these bags designed with the Tige engineers, but Tige themselves use the bags we make to help test their boats. This is something we have started working together on, for the soul purpose of making sure customers get the best surf experience with the VX. Not that they won't work without, but that is our focus.

I am at the factory now and am in the process of testing through the boats with the VX, so far, every boat surfs much better with it, but more on that later. The weather is miserable, but we are still getting decent pictures and video.

Oh, and the reason Alan is putting out a feeler, is I am a bit nervous placing an order for 10 sets (minimum I can do) this late in the season.

                              Robert,

I dont want to make this about me or what I do for a living. "Xwind" asked a legitimate question regarding the Tige designed W004 PnP sac. It peaked my interest as well, but more so for the 84" W005, which is better suited for most of the boats, both port and starboard side. I have a few of these out there and have not had any negative feedback about them. Until I get some feedback, neg or pos, I am not going to pursue a custom with a different shape or dimensions. I was generally curious how the custom differed from the Tige sac, thats all.
