Is the bamboo exposed? Will it break down? Is the bamboo resilient? How do you think they will compare to the Black Stixxs?

Thanks for the prompt, I will add the answers to your ? in my findings.

Hoping there better...wouldn't that be cool, it would prove that this is just the beginning of something fun, new and exciting for everyone not just the pros. Not only would people be thinking boards, but fins as well..why not, our brothers in the ocean do..

Surfing the Futures Fins Machado series...

              Specs from Futures:

              Side Fins
              Height: 4.57 in, 11.61 cm
              Base: 4.45 in, 11.30 cm
Area: 15.23 sq in, 98.26 sq cm

Rob's fin uses renewable, fast growing, bamboo representing a step forward for our environment. The light and resilient carbon bamboo matrix stores and releases energy for fast and explosive surfing. A medium balanced template designed to perform in a variety of conditions. They came in a pack of three stet up for a thruster.

Can't say enough about the old school look. I wanted to pull the boat with a woody (the popular west coast station wagon). The bamboo is bright and really adds contrast to the new tech looking carbon fiber leading edge. The Bamboo is incased on a thin layer of glass and looks clean and fells light.

              My thoughts:
These fins will introduce you to progression while flirting with falling out the back.
Playfully loose I felt like trying a Keenan worlds surf shove 180, but I can't! If I could, I would have fallen out on the biggest of wakes. These fins are close to the Black Stix in feel, responsiveness and look, but offer less speed.

Performance they find a place between my 321s and Black Stix.
Speed they find a place just under my 415s and 321s.

These fins are awesome in there own right and I am happy there in my boat. I love the options that Futures offers and will introduce them to every Customer and friend I can, because at the end of the day, you have to ride them to really know if there for you.

At the end of the day I put my Black Stix back on the Sex Panther...but they can be easily swopped out.
