    First time wake surfing

Just bought a 2008 20V. took my son out wakeboarding yesterday and had fun. First time driving a wake boat. Got it dialed in on the second run. Cruise will take a bit to get used to and set. He is a novice boarder who can do some 180's of the start up kicker and is generally a good rider. He wants to try wake surfing behind the boat. From a drivers perspective - got any tips?

    Thanks for any advice.

When the rider falls down put the boat in neutral and turn to the opposite side that the weight is on, let the wave pass, then slowly go back. At least this is what I do and it has keep water out of the boat.

Pretty easy with the cruise control, you just set it and go in a straight line. Many will disagree, but if you need a little help with getting a big enough wake (I'm in a direct drive, so I sometimes do) a slight turn in the direction of the surfer will help.
Like Skippa said, watch out for your own wake on the turnaround, it's always easy to take a wave over the bow in these boats and especially when you're loaded up with ballast.

        Had a blast

Son and friends had a blast the first day out. Have to fine tune the ballast to get a better wave.
