We need a new surf rope for the Z3. We've been using an old ski rope for years but the line is rather sharp and it's a standard handle with a large enough opening for a foot to slip through. We've had a few rope burns and ankle catch incidents over the years...
Now that there are wakesurf handles specifically, I see there are two styles, the small handle style, sometimes with a one hand "T" handle, or the large knot only style.
We have lots of beginners behind the boat so I'm thinking that the small handle style would be easier to learn on since you can get both hands on an center your weight. The rope or T style means one hand in front of the other and I'm guessing is better for experienced surfers but not beginners.
The rope only or T style would have no risk of an ankle or body part getting caught in the handle opening, but the small handles have such a small opening I'd think it's unlikely to happen anyway.
Currently leaning toward the small handle style but looking for input/opinions....
