    Quad...or not?

I saw these Slater nubsters and thought it would be fun to install them as an up close quadzilla'ish fin pod. What'cha think?

What do you expect with this set up versus the stinger set up?

    Seems interesting

You know when people sometimes grow a weird extra tooth. It looks like that. If it works though, who cares. What is this set up supposed to accomplish?
You'll get your chance, smart guy.

It does look like a snaggle-tooth doesn't it? Those red trailers are the Slater FCS nubsters (I keep wanting to write numbsters ) I'm not sure if they are the best template for this, but the idea is to see if I can add some additional hold without sacrificing maneuverability. The canards on the "twinzer / C-5" increase attachment on the rail fins, these "maybe" still allow the tail to break free, but there is that tiny bit of extra grip. Also, when the board is revert, "maybe" it can help deflect some of the flow before it hits the rail fins backwards.

        OR it's just junk

Looks like a wakeboard company's idea of a surfboard fin.

Speaking of wakeboard companies, looky who "borrowed" the idea
Jimmy Redmond and Chase Hazen of Liquid Force seem to be experimenting with the "twinzer" and those nubsters.
