So I have an opportunity to buy an almost new Shred Stixx Ja Mako for $200. I do not currently have a traditional style surfboard but have been wanting one. I'm 5'7" 165# and I know this board is made for up to 225# but will it work well for me also or should I keep looking?

BUY IT NOW !!! You will love the board. I weigh 200# and no problems with flotation, or performance. The Ja Mako is basically an oversized Threasher for bigger guys. I got second dibs after Duffy if you dont get it
