    Again, thanks.
Fly High only makes one Side Sac set, the W703. They measure 12 x 12 x 48 and are rated at 260 lbs each. They come as a pair and have the std 3 ports.

      Mike,
I've had the boat out with just the Enzo. The wake was tall but short.

Based upon posts that I've read on this forum, I can lengthen the wake with bow ballast. And, I'd prefer the ballast was/were under the front surf side seat(s),

I'll post a few picks of the wake with just the Enzo later this weekend. We're headed to the lake Saturday morning.

Finally, I'd prefer to purchase the bow ballast from your company. Let me know.

Here are a few pics of the wake with the Enzo full with a few people on the boat.

I think we need some weight in the front of the boat to lengthen the wake. Thoughts?

where's the TAPS at for those waves?

If your not doing so already run the trim tab all the way up to 2 and see what happens. Wave should be awesome.

We HAVE to run TAPS at no less than 3.5 to keep a long wave. We have the same boat with the same ENZO' but don't forget my 300 on the swim step. That extra weight on the swim step made a huuuge dif'

            Moose,

Do you have any wieght in the bow? Also, when you say swim step you're referring to the swim platform right? And, how do you keep the weight on the swim platform from falling into the water?

I actually put twin 'Nautique' sacs up there with a pump and everything..Too bad I never use them cause they def' flatten out the wave. At first that was confusing but I posted it up and a few other 24v owners commented how bow weight negated their waves.

Now if I was Duffy (big a*s custom 1800 lb. sacs + 400 big a*s lbs on the platform) and at sea level or close to it (getting all 340 hp) I would for sure add more weight to rear AND then would be able to start utilizing bow weight. As it stands the bow tanks are not needed.

Anyway I'm at 6250 ft. and somewhat down on power. I know if I add too much more weight my drivetrain will take a beating. What elevation are you at?

My 2 150 bricks are held on together by 1/2 deck line rope to the grab rail. They just sit there all snug on the corner. The triple loop of rope acts as a 'slider'> when the boat lists' to the port it's real easy to push them to that side of the swimdeck where they stay..and the same on the starboard. I also 'trimmed' the deck down. Check out my thread to see the details. Removing appx. 1/3 of the deck keeps the platform from messin' with the wave. It also gives the rear of the boat a nice modern sleek look imho

Bottom line my wave is nearly a foot taller than yours in the pics and has a bit more curl and thickness. With our larger ocean boards we can 'trim' from waaaaay back if we turn the boat a bit..almost 25 ft. sometimes...fkn crazy...

Friday I had a 4 minute plus ride on my Walden CD-4 (a normal 6'4" shortboard I ride in 4 foot plus surf). Too much fun

I checked out your thread on your trimmed down deck -- sweet. I agree the stock teak deck is too large and gets in the way of the wake. I just don't know if I'm ready to take on that project.

I'm also a little reluctant to perform too many mods on the boat. I might be more inclined to sell the 06 24V and buy a newer model with factory ballast, upgraded stereo and perfect pass. However, I’m still nervous about the economy and our 06 is a pretty nice boat.

Our elevation at Lake Texoma is 761 ft. The 340 hp PMC motor in our Tige performs flawlessly and there's plenty of power.

We're going to go out tomorrow and hopefully the water will be less turbulent. Lake Texoma gets pretty choppy on the weekends as there are many larger boats on the lake.

One other question, where do you get replacement wakeboard and surfboard racks? I have the stock racks on the boat and the former owner removed the swivels. And, since our board and future boards fit in a wakeboard rack, I don't think I'll need a surf rack.

Here's a pic of the rack. Do you have any suggestions for replacements? I already replaced the straps.

it took us all of 2 hours to do the deck job not counting the drying over nite'.

Sounds like all you need is some deck weight'...easy> order a sac or two for the platform. Maybe on 300 lb Nautique sac

Dont' worry about bow weight. Plus we always have someone out on the sunpad...maybe velcro one of your freinds or use a coworker like I do

I took the stock racks and cut out the middle fork...then ground/polished everything smoooooth..then used pipe insulation (silicone glued) for padding. Cost of the job> $10 big ones.

Adding touches like that will only increase the value of your boat. It's less money the next surf hound will have to spend. I had to do it all myself. The next owner is going to be stoked to get a fully prepped wave machine

Thanks again Moose. I do have an extra sac that came with the boat. I think it could work nicely on the swim deck, assuming it's not too long.

                    I'll take some pics

                        Moose,

I took your advice on adding weight to the swim deck. However, in place of a fat sac, I had a couple of my son's friends stand on the swim platform for added balast.

The wave was nice. We had a great time.

We're going to go out again tomorrow. I'll take a few pics.

                        Thanks for the advice

                          Hey Guys,

1 750 in the rear locker, about 900 lbs of people along port side seat. Taps on 7 and 12 mph. seemed to be more than decent in our '06 24V.

Thanks Dave. I have an Enzo fat sac that fills the rear locker and runs up the side of the boat under the seats. Totally filled, it adds up to 1,450 pounds of weight.

I'll try 12 mph with taps at 7 tomorrow. I'm also going to take our Ronix Koal 5.0 out for a spin - pics to follow.

                              Thanks again.

damn taps at 7..If I do that my wave is way too steep and short. 3 3/4 is the limit for my boat right now and if we have more than 4 in the boat it usually is down near 2...2 1/2.

Today during a longboard session we had 6 adults, a full tank of gas and ran the TAPS at 1 1/2. Super long wave. Amazingly we'd be back almost 30 feet during big turns

So you put PEOPLE on the swimstep? That's a huge fine on Tahoe..like 300 bones'.

I'm still recommending a swimstep sac for you. If not wavemakers then Cheaps' or whoever. That 300 lbs made my boat awesome
