    Loose swim platform

We have noticed a little more movement in our swim platform after surfing this summer. I heard that surfing can wear down the pins and the swim deck can fall off. Has anyone heard of this or experienced this? Thanks.

I don’t surf, but my swim platform was lose and the pins started to rust, so I replaced them with some stainless steel shoulder bolts. Have not had any issue and I have been using them for four years.
Tige, it's a way of life!

my platform is a bit loose. I pulled the pins yesterday and didn't notice the wear. Majestic recommended a modification to drill and tap the bottom of the bracket on the boat to insert a bolt / set screw to push up on the bottom of the platform bracket to stop the motion.

Talk to your dealer. When I asked/bugged them about it they looked it up and there is a Tige flyer on how dealer prep is putting bolts in the bottom of the support brackets. The dealer did it for me free of charge.

Do you have a picture of what they did?

ajholt7 - I might have in my Tige bag. I will look next time I am up at the boat then scan it in for everyone to see.
