21V surfing

Got a little surfing in before the hail storm this past weekend. This is with 5 people in the boat and no ballast. Pretty respectable for an old boat and no ballast I think. We have a 400# but just did not take the time to fill it. Also surfing on the new XXX Nitro. Wow it is fast compared to the Broadcast!

Boat might be old but the hull is great for surf.

KILLER MAN! That's going to be me once I find the right board and rope for the price... Any recommendations for biggers.. Avid Wakeboarders though and good balance on 2 feet...

U guys are lookin good. How much weight when u say "biggers"? I know its personal but kinda helps. St68 (about 210) and I (255) both surf Walker Project Bazooka and REALLY like that board but its pricey. Hopefully u will get some good input on boards here-lots of good input abounds on that topic.

The Nitro was 399.00, you can find a broadcast used pretty cheap to get started on. We use it to teach. You will outgrow it in a summer though. The faster boards take some getting used to!

Sorry.. I must have been not paying attention or half drunk on that post.. I meant beginners.. not "biggers".. haha.. I weigh about 165lbs.. just bought the obrien alias 2010 model.. couldn't pass up on the price.. didn't wanna pay 4-500 u know?
