Weight on the swim platform

I saw the other day someone in here mentioned they wanted to try weight on the swim platform. I have a total of 1000# surfside and 400 in the bow, been struggling all year trying to dial the wake. Most of the people I ride with ride goofey and that side on my boat, we have the most trouble with. Thought I might try the idea of a 400# bag on the swim platform. The results were insane. Thanks to whoever it was that mentioned it. I also attached a picture of my buddies 24V wake for comparison, you will notice a different rider.

How did you attach the weight have any pics?

No pictures, but lay 2 tie downs on the platform, hook one end to the grab handle, fill the bag, and connect the other end to the grab handle. As long as you have 2 tie downs it stayes fine.

I just ordered a 400 lb sac and a fat brick to do the same. I've heard 100 lbs on the platform is as good as having 400 on the seat.

I have been putting weight on my swim deck for years. It seems like it really cleans up the face. I have a picture of my "ghetto" ballast on the following thread.
I'm not sure if I would be putting that much weight on it though. It might not be rated to handle that kind of weight (400 lbs plus weight of rider when getting on and off).

I have a fat brick with 100#lbs of lead in it. So it's roughly 250. It makes a huge difference.
