That's kinda my take.. Im not going wakesurfing behind an IO, but I have yet to hear of injuries sustained doing so.

yuck... I wonder if it would even be possible at 6-15 feet behind the boat to fall forward enough to get into the prop on an I/O.
I think the risks are much greater for death or injury inhalation of CO.
