I started surfing last year for the first time and purchased a LF Venture 5'6" board and a Inland Surfer Sweet Spot (I think 4' 11"). My wife and I can surf pretty well on the LF but we definitley struggle with the IS Sweet Spot. Is there an in between board that someone would recommend?

Need more info in order to make a recommendation. Riders weights, boat, ballast.

Our boat is a 22V ridders addition 04. I have 750lbs of ballast in the back locker and thats all I fill. I have 200 or 250 in each of the fronts and I have read I should try filling the front surf side as well but havent as of yet. I am about 5'8" and 170, wife 5'7" 125. The IS is just very unstable. The LF Venture is very stable and we can surf well without a rope and are able to slow and speed up at our control. Run about 9.5 to 10 mph and run TAPS at about 4.
