I'm riding the CWB ride. My husband is 180 and riding it too and it looks like it's sitting deep with him on it, but sits great for me.
I did ride behind the X-Star and rode a green and white hyperlite board (sorry - not sure the name). It was wider and longer than mine and I actually managed alot better on that ride.
So this monkey walks into a bar...

yeah, maybe less speed. Before I got the "x-star pros" on board, my husband and I were running at 10.4, taps 4, ballast full. I managed decent, but I know it was a big wave! Lots of great advice folks! Love this website! You guys rock!

Well, we had some good rides this weekend. The X-star cousin tried it again with his board and he did great - loved the huge wave, quit gripping bout the "hole". I think the advice on my cwb board helped - my husband, myself and our kids are still learning, but doing better!
Here's finally some pics (hopefully I'm doing this right!)
My cousin surfin, me and then my daughter wakeboarding.

Yeah, he just wasn't used to my board (last weekend)and then that little X-Star wake had him all wimped out on his first ride on the Tige!

I have that CWB board. It is easy for beginners to learn on for sure. I just cant seem to get a 360 on it to save my life. Every time I turn in to the wake sharp the fins startto track and I lose my rotation.

Well, we are doing much better now. Riding that green and white hyperlyte board seems easier than the CWB ride. My whole family (beginners) and my cousin (advanced) are all loving the wake now. I see what you say about the CWB being a slow board. His hyperlyte is bigger and faster. We're all going without the rope (for a little while anyway). Thanks for all the advice! Running with both front ballast filled, back left filled, speed at 11.0, taps at 4.0. Getting an awesome wake!

Is the green and white board a hyperlite Broadcast?
