In case you couldn't attend, I thought I'd post a few pictures of the event until Robert could do a full write up. Tons of boards and I think 4 demo boats. The Garcia's RZ2, 2 Supreme V226's and there was an Enzo of some kind, we never got close enough to see it.

I have a ton of pictures in a webshot album, but most are from our boat.

Thanks Jeff. What a great time. We had a least 40 boards, it was nuts. And the way it was organized, you could have easily demoed up to 9-10 boards in one day, with 3 15 minute rides on each boat. The Centurion boat was a 2011 Enzo 230+ with all the goodies bought down by the Northwest Centurion boat rep, Brett Potts. The stoke was contagious. I just got home now, can't wait to write it all up.

We probably had 2000+ pictures to sort through, we had 3 photographers covering the event. In the surf boats, and one in chase.

We bought home 75GB of 1080P video, from 3 GoPros on the surf boats, and then from 2 handhelds from chase and around. AMAZING!

I hear that the FlyBoy's are the best board, is that correct?

I was talking with Dennis this morning and the magnitude of what was available to folks is tough to take in. To paraphrase Dennis: "You could ride behind 3 different world class surf boats and surf maybe 9 different boards"

That's not 9 boards from one manufacturer, but 9 boards from manufacturers like FlyBoy Stretch, Calibrated, Soulcraft and Inland Surfer and there were 40 to choose from!

That's truly a wonderful opportunity for folks.

The flyboys were a hit, there was NO question. Amy and I did a lot, but it was a true team effort. First, Grant/CMS bought all of those boards, and that was no small feat, and a bit risky. That is his inventory. And then of course, they also bought the supreme.

On Friday night, I had all of the pre planning info, names of riders, board list, and what each riders weight and skill level, and board choices were. This was my part, and it was very helpful. I setup a spreadsheet for dennis and mitch and I gave them my laptop, and had them work through how we should group these people. Many came in small groups of friends, or family, and wanted to stay together. I think Mitch realized first, better to group people by preference of boards. I didn't think of this, I was trying to keep friends and family together. Dennis and mitch went with this, and we discussed, it felt right. The idea they had, is if you are on the boat, and each person has a board, 3-4 of you, and you try your board, and think, let me try that other one, it works. Because you are on a boat with several similar boards. Add to that that if the board was free, you may grab more than you need. So a 3 person group may take 5 boards on the boat. Each rider had 15 minutes, which was PLENTY of time. So they would maybe go 3-5 minutes, and try another board, etc. Most riders each rode 2-3 boards on every run.

So grouping by boards was genius, and made the event. This has all come from my own frustration as a consumer. I wanted to buy a boat, I lucked out the tige wakesurfed well. I wanted to buy a board for RJ, how do I know which one to buy? They are so expensive.

3 world class boats, weighted properly, 40+ boards, it was epic. We will be doing this at the festival also.

And this part is JUST for my TO brothers. The RZ2 kicked butt, it had an amazing wake. Not that the other boats didn't, but I think it stood out, and was the only fully automated one. The Supreme is going to be automated, but not from the factory, CMS is doing themselves. I had fully automated comp level wake. And every boat had to switch sides one time during the day, but the RZ2, I volunteered to be the one that had to switch 2 times. There were 3 groups, one all goofy. So one boat had to be goofy and 2 regular. So one of the boats had to switch 2 times quickly. RZ2 did it without breaking a sweat. You guys would have been proud.

I know as you do that Tige has really been promoting their boats as great wakesurf boats, and they are. My goal, was to this year make it clear that the RZ2 was a world class wakesurf boat. Tier 1. I think we have done that, unfortunately possibly frustrating some, but it truly is a world class wakesurf boat.

All of the tiges seem to make great wakesurf wakes, but that RZ2, it keeps amazing me.

Is CMS going to be selling all of those boards as demo's then?

Dunnow, don't think so. I am sure if something got scratched, or dinged he would. Its like buying a car that has been test driven.

Surfdad thanks for including The Walker Project in the list of Manufacturers. Truly was an epic opportunity for the riders to have 3 world class surf boats in one spot at the same time to ride behind. The boards were just an added bonus. Though we may have ruined them for the next time they ride at home.

OK - I gotta ask...

How was the Enzo for the goofy riders?

Being as "matter of fact" as possible...

They tested the goofy wave on friday, it was smaller and pretty dirty. But they seemed to clean it up the next day, and I heard it was much better.

That said, ask Slimjim, he actually rode it.

Ragboy- So glad it worked out well for you guys!! Was the Enzo the same Orange/Black one that I fell in love with up here in Washington this summer(although I would never buy it)?

Can't wait to see the pics and also can't wait till spring for the 2011 Festival!!

Yes, it was the orange and black one, that is one sexy color combo, it really looked nice.

We are going to work towards doing this at the festival.
