Had one last chance to go surf before the boat gets put away for the season. Literally, we have had it scheduled for tomorrow but today the sky was blue and giving 70F. So we headed out and got one last session in.
Willamette River, Portland Oregon.
Thanks guys for of your help making this happen. Any comments on how to surf better would be appreciated...seriously. Or ideas how to get the wave better as well would be welcome.

Love to get some other peeps opinions on the wave and technique and such since I am new to this all.
Only got it winterized cause just don't have enough hardcore riders in this area that I know to make it worth it.
Let me know in the spring

We had a driver and a flagger. Flagger (120lbs if that) sat across from the driver. 1100 lbs sac in driverside rear locker filled as far as we can get it, 700- maybe 850 lbs. Then directly behind the driver on the floor pushed up agains the base of the seating behind the diver is a 260 lbs bag and then another 260 lbs on the seat directly behind the driver. The one that you step over when getting in and out of the boat. That's it. That day we had a lot of water coming down the river, it had rained a lot. So speed of river was faster than normal. We usually run the pp at around 9.3 but that day it was at 8.9. We ran the taps around 6.5 to 7. Both worked pretty good it seemed.
Personally I would like to replace the 260lbs sac on the seat with one 400lbs sac. Then I would have more weight farther to the side. Hard to stack the 260lbs sacs on top of each other.
What do you think? I would love to hear feedback. I wish I had been looking at the rubrail that day. Usually we are on or just about 1/2" above water line with the rubrail. I have been reading Ragboy's posts regarding the rubrail and try to get that puppy on the water. We have a "rubrail team" here

Sounds like enough weight. Having the rubrail hit the water is a great guage on Tige's to know if its sacked out enough.
On my 01 21V, the surf wake seems to like taps at between 2-3. When it is any higher, the wake gets super high but also super short and not very smooth.
You may want to try the taps lower to see if it lengthens the wake any, but it looked pretty good in the video so it could be just right.
