    jbort shredding it wireless!!!

Our weather in Atlanta has been very warm which means our surf season has been extended thankfully!! Here is jbort surfing it up yesterday on the Walker Bazooka behind an 08 22Ve, video was shot from wake9.com camera mount. The picture is tight b/c I could not figure out how to switch to macro mode... you will notice his superman pose occasionally courtesy of ragboy as well. This forum has been such a help to learning how to wakesurf.

Give Jbort a little hint. He is riding with his back knee really bent especially when he is starting to fall out the back. This is exactly the opposite of what he needs to do. If he would stand up more in back he would have more weight on his front foot and would quickly get back in the sweet spot. With the back knee bent so much he has most of his weight back there and that will slow down the board.

You really just need to standup and not bend the knee so much. This will have the effect of moving weight to the front foot. You would need to be careful when you straighten to back leg that you are not leaning over the front at the same time. try just the knee thing first as you are starting to fall back then you can add the arms out front. Little steps for sure. You can practice while holding the rope go to the end of the rope and try different things to surf back into the wake. Over time you will learn what to do and when.
