    Wifey got skillz

Great weekday of surfing yesterday. It was the first day my wife felt comfortable enough with the boat to drive and wanted to take me out for all I could stand of it. Surfed so much I could barely get back in the boat. Also was able to get the wave dialed in pretty well.

She then decided to "try it again". 1st day out, she learned how to get up. 2nd day out, started to feel it a bit. Yesterday, she got up both times she tried and out of the blue just tossed the rope in. I missed most of the first run, but as you can see, she is a fast learner. She loves the new SS Comp 1. Wants to take off work tomorrow, too!

great fun and good to see. My wife has been doing pretty well w driving but not the most normal thing, especially when we load up w 1200-1500 lbs of ballast and things get "one-sided".

Very nice. What kind of camera are you using? It is possible to attache wide angle lenses to some, so you don't have to rotate.

It is just an iPhone. Should have held it on its side.

Nice! You have the right idea, get out on Lake Austin during the week and workday, you had the lake to yourself. I was out Saturday for a few hours and the traffic was noticeably lighter, once school starts the crowds dwindle.

Got it. Its amazing, but the new iPhone 4, takes amazing 720p video. I would probably use it more if I wasn't worried about dropping it over the side.

It was an iPhone 4. Video was edited and exported right from phone using iMovie.

iPhone does not swim very well. We have a friend that shoots incredible surf video with it though.

It is good to see that she is on the dark side (goofy) like the rest of our family!

Cool, don't know of any wide angle lens for that. ;-)
